The rain
It rained last night and it was beautiful. I sat on the porch with a new friend and she told me a secret and I told her some. I told her about Baltimore and how it's muggy during the days in the summer, but you're rewarded with an afternoon thunderstorm almost everyday. So I enjoyed sitting on the porch last night until 11:00 because the rain was at such a slant that it was hitting my shins even though I had pushed myself back against the house. And then the sun came out today and that was beautiful too. I like making new friends.
